The Creole Belle

Hunter's Creek Village

This home’s expanded landscape design compliments the architecture inspired by architect Hay Towns and his influence of the Spanish, French and Creole history of Louisiana. The creation of the gathering areas, fireplace, herb garden and other repurposed elements were designed to connect to the architectural style while responding to the functional use of the garden spaces. The expanded architectural footprint features a fountain courtyard, full length shutters, existing dovecote, brick paving as well as repurposed garden elements. Salvaged brick paving, brick banded stone paving, brick pool coping, brick wall fountain and fireplace are the unifying elements tying these spaces together.
